How long does it take to deploy FACIL’iti Smart?

FACIL’iti Smart integrates with an existing website by adding a script. Deployment time depends on the technical environment, the number of interfaces involved and the validation steps planned with your teams. For users, nothing needs to be installed: the adaptation is immediate when a filter is activated.

Is FACIL’iti Smart compatible with my CMS?

FACIL’iti Smart is designed to integrate with the main CMS and web environments. A technical check is carried out beforehand to confirm its compatibility with your setup.

Does FACIL’iti Smart slow down my website?

No. The FACIL’iti Smart script loads asynchronously and is designed to limit its impact on website performance. Its integration can be checked with your technical teams as part of the deployment.

Do users need to create an account?

No. FACIL’iti does not collect any personal data and complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Does FACIL’iti Smart make my website RGAA compliant?

No. FACIL’iti Smart improves browsing comfort and user autonomy, but does not replace an RGAA audit or the work needed to make the website compliant. FACIL’iti also offers audits and dedicated support for regulatory compliance.

What adaptations does FACIL’iti Smart offer?

FACIL’iti Smart acts in particular on reading, contrast, colours, content layout and navigation usability. FACIL’iti Smart also includes a screen reader. The adaptations can meet visual, motor or cognitive needs, as well as temporary situations of fatigue or discomfort.

Does FACIL’iti Smart meet the needs of blind, deaf or hard-of-hearing people?

FACIL’iti Smart mainly improves browsing for people with visual, cognitive or motor difficulties, such as dyslexia, colour blindness, low vision or impaired fine motor control.

For blind, deaf or hard-of-hearing people, it works alongside assistive technologies and specific adaptations, such as screen readers, text alternatives or captions. FACIL’iti Smart therefore does not replace a comprehensive approach to making the website accessible under the RGAA or the WCAG.

How does FACIL’iti Smart protect user data?

FACIL’iti generally does not require prior consent for its accessibility trackers or technical cookies when they are used solely to remember the display preferences chosen by the user.

How it works and data

Anonymous service: using FACIL’iti requires no sign-up and no collection of personal or medical data.

Local storage: the chosen display preferences are stored directly in the user’s browser as technical cookies (visual comfort cookies).

Legal exemption: when these trackers are used solely to remember the user’s display preferences, they may benefit from the consent exemption provided for by article 82 of the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés).

Can Smart usage be measured?

Yes. FACIL’iti Smart lets you track general usage indicators, such as the number of users of the solution or the number of pages viewed with an adapted display.

In line with the GDPR and user privacy, FACIL’iti neither collects nor shares personal or medical data, or data about the types of filters selected.

Does FACIL’iti Smart keep working when my website is updated?

Yes. FACIL’iti Smart adaptations keep applying when you change the text or images on your website, with no extra work from your teams or FACIL’iti’s.
